This is the third Raptus Star, the project that reimagines iconic pieces from the Raptus&Rose history, untouched. The OMG Pant was created in 2015 in the United Arab Emirates, where its fabric was found: a featherlight tulle, yet richly embroidered with a lurex thread that creates arabesque swirls. Transforming that fabric, destined to be something completely different, into trousers was a challenge. First, it needed to be lined, and the choice fell on a cotton muslin that, light, soft, and simple, seems to be the perfect counterpoint to the sumptuousness of the fabric. Then came its placement: carefully studied to ensure it was perfectly symmetrical and created the perfect balance. The shape of the trousers is that of the Pijama Pant: straight leg, joined sides—that is, there are no seams on the outside of the leg, so as not to interrupt the embroidery pattern—deep French pockets, and a soft elastic waistband. The front waistband bears the Raptus&Rose signature: a hand-stitched Indian Pink thread. These are the trousers that solve all your special days: all the Christmases and New Years to come, all the birthdays and weddings you'll be invited to, all the Epiphanies that will manifest themselves. These are the trousers that solve all your looks: from heels to sneakers; from jackets to coats; from silk tops to wool sweaters; from men's jackets to the most feminine stoles.
