Brilliant – yet incredibly fake – shimmering with a roaring light and hand-applied with a passion and precision that goes beyond patience and knowledge; silver thread embroidery inspired by the borders of ancient Indian saris and a precious archival fabric. To lighten an evening gown, preserving its allure and decorative elements, but making it packable to fit in a suitcase and wear anywhere. To empty out an evening gown, maintaining its volume, but making it wearable at any time of day. It's like freeing oneself from a corset: what constrained women before the 1920s. The Jazz Pocket Party Dress is just that: a packable evening gown, but also for daytime, to wear over anything, even a pair of jeans, inspired by the Roaring Twenties. Made of impalpable and soft neutral-colored tulle, extremely sophisticated, it is the PPD with deep necklines, both front and back; necklines that lengthen and lighten the silhouette and can be harmonized with every body shape, simply by tying the strap sewn on the back neckline to the desired width. The side seams are French seams; on the necklines and inserts, the inlay sewing technique was used: very flat and without bulk. The hem is raw-cut and finished at the ends with small hand stitches. Under the shoulder straps are the essential buttonholes to keep the bra in place.
