A priceless collection, born from research trips and an unshakeable love for an iconic object. In the Secret Archive of the Atelier sul Fiume, vintage silk scarves are the protagonists. Beautiful. Increasingly rare. We chose three and had their prints reproduced, transforming them into pants. The Extreme Foulard Pyjama Pants are silk twill pants. Not simply printed, but printed with those original designs, their placement studied with geometric perfection. Extreme in comfort with their elastic waistband at the back, the front strap, the deep welt pockets, the softness of the fabric. Extreme in beauty with their joined sides, meaning no side seams, which do not interrupt the harmony of the prints, the line of the inseam that effectively takes a size off, the flat seams and the hand-stitched hems. A sartorial masterpiece and a nostalgic nod to those times when the scarf was not a piece of fabric, but a tale of love.
