Inspired by men's work trousers, but reconstructed through volumes, proportions, and hyper-feminine details, these pants are designed to be worn with a relaxed, low-waisted, slightly baggy look. They have a straight leg, elastic at the back, deep pockets, a flap, and belt loops. The waistband, hems, and flap are finished with hand-sewn piping, and even the two snaps are hand-sewn. A crucial, and by no means obvious, detail is the cut along the hip. It's not straight, but twisted. It starts at the hip in the front and reaches the bottom of the back. It's a line studied down to the millimeter that fits the leg, embracing it. The fabric is made from two plant-based materials: hemp (63%) and cupro (37%). Hemp, a yarn once used exclusively for coarse fabrics, has been revalued in the last century and used for finer yarns; Cupro, on the other hand, like viscose, is made from cellulose and is subjected to processes that make it shiny and slippery - cupro fabrics are very famous and used as lining, just like silk. Hemp, mixed with cupro, creates a fabric that blends the rough with the shiny, the dry with the fluid: the result is a full-bodied and sustained fabric, almost sculptural, but with a very sophisticated and soft hand.
