Our story
We were born as a project by Silvia Bisconti, a visionary woman, who created the Raptus&Rose brand in 2015. Raptus stemmed from a desire to break the rules of traditional fashion, and Rose from a constant pursuit of beauty.
The Atelier on the River in Belluno is our first home. The tailoring shop with its large windows overlooking the water produces the first pieces with fabrics sourced from all over the world. Each individual dress is designed with obsessive attention to detail, tested on the bodies of different women, and crafted with care and expertise. From these first creations, the iconic Raptus&Rose silhouettes were born, which would become the heart of our philosophy.
Raptus&Rose dresses appeal to women who understand their power, beauty, and wearability. And the project gradually became a company. We retain the original vision, energy, and passion for women's bodies intact. Today, we want to bring it to the world.
Silvia Bisconti
Silvia was born with a passion for clothes. At three years old, she was waiting for the babysitter with her handbag and hat, and in high school, she stood out among her classmates' sweatshirts with her lace and slips. A nomad and citizen of the world, she views every trip as an eccentric opportunity to be a different person, carefully choosing the clothes that represent her. She is the absolute queen of vintage clothing searches at flea markets.
She unconditionally loves the bodies of all women, whom she dresses, enhances, and transforms, giving them awareness and power. And she has always adored colors and fabrics, which she seeks out and collects from every corner of the world. These are the qualities she brings with her and hones in her studies—at the Brera Art School in Milan and at the Istituto Marangoni—and consolidates in her significant work experience in the fashion world, first as Romeo Gigli's assistant and then as creative director of Maliparmi.
But it's in her brand Raptus&Rose that Silvia manages to harness her insights, her knowledge, and her passions. She breaks free from traditional fashion norms, bringing her message to women with strength and freedom. Through clothing, as she has always wanted and known how to do.
Silvia is no longer with us, but her clothes live on. She's certainly happy about that.
“I WANT TO MAKE CLOTHES THAT WOMEN CAN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT AND LOVE FOREVER”
The Raptus Team
At Raptus&Rose, we believe in human sustainability. For us, this means working in a way that we're passionate about. That makes us feel good. Freely intertwining personal time and space with work.
It means feeling like a cohesive team and transforming shared energy into projects. Cultivating our talents. It means
Choosing places steeped in beauty, welcoming, and unexpected. And it means practicing kindness. Because we want our clothes to be touched only by happy hands, at every stage of their lives. To carry them in your hands, when you choose them.
