It's femininity without 'ifs', lightness without 'buts', summer without compromise. A slip dress in Indian Khadi: hand-spun and hand-woven cotton, soft and durable. Dreamy, flowing, made for movement. It takes the draped volumes of a 19th-century gown, strips them of all rigidity, and lays them on the minimalism of a slip. Fitted at the top, flowing at the bottom. It has the grace of handmade things because it truly is: the lace along the neckline and armholes are appliquéd one by one. Inside, there are at least seven meters of hand-stitched seams - because such lightness must be held together stitch by stitch, otherwise it's not real. The fabric is entirely cut on the bias: it follows the body instead of constricting it, leaving two diagonal seams on the front and back that are its unique, beautiful graphic signature.
